I treated myself to a heartwarming live broadcast of the Grammy Awards. What a fun way to spend a Monday. Every winner, every speech, every performance, every frock. For me, there were many golden moments, all of which have become a beautiful daydream in the last 24 hours. Unforgettable. I love the way my heart races when I hear the words “and the Grammy goes to…”
For now, I’ve made a Grammys Mixtape that is as grand as it gets. These are the songs that made Taylor Swift dance and cheer, as if every performer was simply one of her team mates. If that’s not a big enough endorsement, I don’t know what is.
It includes the hits we know and love from Beyonce, Sabrina Carpenter, Charlie xcx and Chappell Roan, and it also holds space for underrated winners in other categories that were not featured in the awards ceremony (say what?!)
I’m talking the best Dance, R&B, Country, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Film tunes who all won Grammys yet received very little screen time. Songs and artists you would not have heard of, I can guarantee it. The best part is, they’re bloody good!
